Patrick Cody Ltd. is a long established family owned and operated business in the midlands of Ireland.

For over 100 years, we have gained the trust and respect of both customers and suppliers alike. With our in-depth expertise, a strong management team and a well-trained and loyal workforce, we look forward to playing a leading role to the various industries we supply. Our History

Founded as a sawmill in 1892 by Patrick Cody (1865-1948), we remain a family-run business, entirely owned and managed by fourth generation members of the Cody family - we are one of the longest established family-run businesses in our area.

Patrick Cody Ltd. Through the Years

The early years: We started with a diverse range of activities including public saw-milling, parts for agricultural vehicles, tool handles and kitchen chairs.

1940's: The modernisation of Ireland prompted a move to the manufacture of parts for the electricity and telephone transmission lines, and parts for the railway line network.

1950's - 1960's: These years brought about another change, this time into the production of wooden boxes for the fishing and mineral bottle trades.

1970's: The production of timber components for the bedding trade became our primary focus, and is still one of our main areas of expertise today.

1980's: We commenced the import and distribution of furniture components and and industrial castors/wheels, and we have become one of the largest distributors of these products in Ireland today.

1990's: We launched new products aimed at the garden and landscaping market, building on our history in timber as well as the distribution of new innovative products

Today: The on-going expansion and diversification of our product portfolio ensures we are always in tune with the markets needs and customer demands.

Today our modern production facility specialises in the manufacture of timber components to the divan bed industry.  Over the years we have continued to develop this market with the import and distribution of furniture components.
